Equity Group of Michigan is working alongside a privately owned Michigan-based packaging solutions provider to acquire a manufacturer of corrugated or chipboard containers, dividers, partitions, tubes or other packaging products. Our client is also interested in pallet and skid manufacturing. They are undergoing rapid growth and wish to broaden their offerings and expand their geographic footprint with the intention of maintaining operations at the acquired site(s).

The target company will be located along a wide corridor from Michigan southward to Tennessee, ideally with revenue between $2M - $20M and EBITDA up to $1.5M.

Criteria  

Primary Business: Manufacturer of packaging products in the following categories: corrugated, chipboard and solid fiber boxes; die-cut paper and paperboard dividers, partitions, tubes etc.; wooden pallets & skids.

Geography: The central US corridor of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Financial Performance: Annual revenue of $2M - $20M and EBITDA up to $1.5M.

Deal Structure: Our client is willing to invest significant cash up front combined with traditional bank financing. They are also open to keeping the seller and existing management team onboard post-acquisition as needed. Our client wishes to complete the transaction in Q2-Q3 of 2022.
