Paul Ledford earned his J.D. Degree from the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D. 1995), and his undergraduate degree from Northern Michigan University (B.A. magna cum laude, 1992). In 2002, Mr. Ledford founded Ledford & Associates, a law practice geared towards serving business and M&A clients, among others. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and has been admitted to practice in all of the courts in the State of Michigan, as well as the U.S. Federal District Court – Western District of Michigan. Early in his career, Mr. Ledford was selected as a “Rising Star” by Law and Politics two years running. More recently, Mr. Ledford was recognized by Lawyers of Distinction for his excellence in civil litigation and M&A practice and was awarded “Litigator of the Year” in 2021 by the American Institute of Trial Lawyers.
In addition to having taught at Grand Valley State University as an adjunct professor, Mr. Ledford serves on the Board of Directors for Vanguard Charter Academy in Wyoming, Michigan, a National Heritage Academy charter school ranked among the top in the state of Michigan. Mr. Ledford attends and serves on the security team at Resurrection Life Church in Wyoming, Michigan.
Paul is married to his wife of thirty years and is the parent of five children. He enjoys boating, wakeboarding, hiking, weightlifting, and snowboarding in his free time.
