Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.

Professionally, he is recognized as an award-winning top producer in the mortgage industry, having excelled at Rocket Mortgage in downtown Detroit, and later as a broker. While at Rocket Mortgage, he was awarded the honor of 2020 People’s Choice Purchase Banker of the Year. His passion for the mortgage industry was driven by his commitment to help clients achieve their financial goals, identify optimal finance solutions, and simplifying what can often be a complex process.

Beyond mortgages, Matt co-managed and operated an aluminum fence manufacturing company with his family, collaborating closely with his father to expand the wholesale division. He spearheaded successful marketing initiatives to enhance product visibility and brand awareness. His efforts also focused on optimizing manufacturing and distribution operations for seamless efficiency.

Across these diverse roles, Matt has honed essential skills in sales, leadership, client service, marketing, advertising, finance, and operations.

Matt is married to his wife, Alisha, and they have two sons, Lucas and Porter, as well as a Siberian Husky named Loki. They reside in the Ann Arbor area where Matt enjoys golf, tennis, and attending University of Michigan football home games with friends and family.
